The TEAm

We have an amazing team that works hard every day to grow nourishing food. While we have different responsibilities and areas of expertise, we largely work together across the different aspects of the farm. In 2024 have about 6 full time positions and 4 part time positions. Shout out to our excellent part-time crew (Kate, Grace, Felix, Leo, and Jesse’s family members!)

Jessica Swadosh started at Tributary in the summer of 2025. She has been farming in the Ulster County since 2006. Before settling down in Ulster County she trained as a vegan cook at the Natural Gourmet Institute and worked as a line cook at a few restaurants in New York City. She starting WWOOFing (Willing Workers On Organic Farms, volunteer based farming program) in 1999 and has since volunteered on farms in 15 countries spanning 5 continents. She also was recently certified as a personal trainer!

Gabrielle Mendelsohn joined Tributary Farm in 2025 as the Harvest and CSA manager. They were born and raised in Washington DC and before moving to the area they farmed for three seasons at a small vegetable farm outside the D.C. They love all things to do with food, and are excited to keep growing it for the community. When they’re not farming, Gabrielle loves to cook, read, do ceramics, and go hiking.
